DIVE- Immersive Arts Festival 2025
Immersive live performances that completely surround the audience,
or into which they can “dive,” form the centerpiece of the festival
in the star hall of the Bochum Planetarium.
The unique focus on live performances within the multifaceted field
of immersive arts has made DIVE a biennial event of international significance.
The “DIVE – Festival of Immersive Arts” emerged in 2019 from a collaboration
between the Bochum Planetarium and the Bochum Schauspielhaus.
Below you can find some impressions of the fourth edition of this global pioneering project
which took place on November 7th & 8th, 2025.

The fifth edition of DIVE is planned for November 2027.
