DIVE – Festival der Immersiven Künste
DIVE steht für Digitalität, Immersion, Virtualität und Environment.
Immersive Liveaufführungen von denen das Publikum gänzlich umgeben ist
bzw. in die es „eintaucht“, bilden den Mittelpunkt des Festivalgeschehens
im Sternensaal des Bochumer Planetariums.
Der einzigartige Fokus auf Live-Performances im vielgestaltigen Feld
immersiver Künste hat DIVE zu einem biennal stattfindenden Ereignis
von internationaler Bedeutung gemacht.
Das „DIVE – Festival der immersiven Künste“ ist 2019 aus einer Kooperation
des Planetariums und des Bochumer Schauspielhaus hervorgegangen.
Das DIVE Festival wurde konzipiert und begründet von Tobias Wiethoff (Planetarium)
und Tobias Staab (Schauspielhaus).
DIVE – Immersive Arts Festival
DIVE stands for the four core themes of the festival: Digitality, Immersion, Virtuality, and Environment.
Immersive live performances, in which the audience is completely surrounded or “immersed,” form the centerpiece of the festival in the Star Hall of the Bochum Planetarium.
The unique focus on live performances in the diverse field of immersive arts has made DIVE a biennial event of international significance.
The “DIVE – Festival of Immersive Arts” emerged in 2019 from a collaboration between the Planetarium and the Bochum Schauspielhaus. The DIVE Festival was conceived and founded by Tobias Wiethoff (Planetarium) and Tobias Staab (Schauspielhaus).
